On Thursday, May 4thUnited Way Campaign Chair Joe Gorder, unveiled the 2017 campaign theme and poster art, Heart of the Community, created by local artist Patti Schermerhorn.

Influenced by history of the city around her, Schermerhorns art style is vibrant and full of texture. She paints with a signature mosaic, layering style. Her art symbolizes the pride we have in our citypast, present and future.

Island magic strikes again. Not the meddling mangoes or sketchy sea this time, but rather one Cora Silverfish, proprietor of Pineapple Jewelry and Gems. Forced to buy his wife Ms. Lila a last-minute birthday gift at Coras shop, Raoul Orlean, Head of Customs and Excise, finds himself entangled in Coras affairs, from Customs fraud to her connection with the criminal Curator of Ohs Parliamentary Museum.
