I created this for a very special friend. San Fernando Cathedral, which is located in our beautiful downtown area, has a wonderful light show. They play all kinds of colorful art and nostalgic or icon locations onto the building in a light show. I did this to capture the spirit of this person. She tirelessly is devoted to our community in a giving manner with one of the hugest hearts I know. It also captures a lot of personal things about her. I divided the building into sections. Dining, Travel and Giving. The boat has her three fur babies. I tried to capture her family in the foreground. Her daughter was just accepted to SCAD. So, I even placed her in collegiate clothing. One of my favorite pieces in a long time to create! Love you Jo!
