Description
I was so honored to paint Calico and ET for Dr. Brad Brunson & his beautiful wife and life partner, Cheryl A. Hollenshead. Calico recently passed away and ET is her son. I absolutely loved this particular picture of Calico because of the bowl that she was sitting in and I integrated ET into the picture. Thank you for allowing me to paint this for you both. Much love!

Hey Kelly. Thank you so much for that. The first gallery I started showing my art work in taught me that. Of course, it was a 2.00 rather than 1.00. I, personally, found it overpriced....especially after the market crashed. I want my art work to be affordable. I do this pricing across the board. Even if it is in a gallery where they take the 40%. It allows for consistency and someone not (hopefully) asking calling the "artist directly" and not going through the gallery thinking they will get a different price. Hope it will work for you at whichever "consistent" price point you find works for you. :)

I love this Patti . . . so sweet! You captured them. I also love your pricing technique. I have struggled with how to price my paintings and after seeing your method found articles of others charging by square inch the same for each medium. We know some works are more special to us as artists or take more time . . . but, this method will inspire more confidence in the buyer. Thanks!

I was beyond honored to paint it! And thank you again for allowing me to. I hope Cheryl loves her birthday present! :)

Patti, You have done an absolutely wonderful artistic job depicting Calico and her son, ET. We were very sad when Calico passed on March 5 of this year. It was very difficult for us, for she was ill quite some time. She had been with us since "adopting" Cheryl with her litter of kittens behind a palm tree behind our pool some 12 years before. She was just a baby herself. We kept her and ET, he was the 'runt' of the litter. His name is short for "Extraterrestial". Throughout all of her hospice care, her son ET was by her side, following her everywhere. Calico cherished the times she had with Cheryl; when Cheryl was home, Calico was always with her. I write this before 'unvailing" your artistic treasure to Cheryl; but, I know she will feel the warmth once again. Thank you so much!
