Due out in August of 2014.......Away With The Fishes
Author, Stephanie Siciarz does it again, publishing her second book in her ongoing, witty series about the charming and mysterious Island of Oh. Artist, Patti Schermerhorn, yet again....has colorfully captured the version of her Caribbean world that she creates in her writing.
On the Island of Oh, where the pushy sun and troubling rains have been quiet too long, something is afoot. But what? A ghost? A murderer? A prankster with a can of paint? Whatever it is, it’s leaving strange messages on Raoul Or- lean’s cottage about the disappearance of islander Rena Baker. Raoul’s efforts to connect the painted dots—to de- cipher if Rena is alive or dead—lead him to the dusty tale of Dagmore Bowles, an eccentric sea captain who jumped to a watery death. As Raoul dives into the Captain’s past, local police set their sights on Rena’s boyfriend, Madison Fuller: surely he’s killed her and tossed her body into the sea! As...

Patti Schermerhorn uses vivid color in all of her art and believes that color truly sets a tone and movement and stirs it around to create passion in those who view it. The featured painting is from her San Antonio series that she painted to represent our city’s culture of color and energy. Her art work can be found in private & corporate collections throughout the US and abroad. Patti uses her love of art to donate a tremendous amount of artwork to charity events. This past fall during the Austin Cow Parade, her cow “Udderly Austin” sold at auction for $62,000 and was the third highest selling cow of the event. All of her art work can be viewed at http://www.patti-schermerhorn.artistwebsites.com/
